Mission Statement

Our Mission at NAPO-NC
The mission of NAPO-NC (the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, North Carolina Chapter) is to provide education, develop relationships among professional organizers, and promote recognition within our local communities.

How We Benefit the Public
Between television shows, books, and media coverage, there is a lot of talk these days about the importance of getting organized. To find out some of the gains that can be realized when you have systems in place to control clutter and access items you need – contact a local NAPO-NC Organizer.

The NAPO Brand Promise
We at NAPO-NC are firm believers that membership adds to our professional credibility. Strength in numbers enriches our relatively new, but growing industry as we develop, together finding the best ways to meet our clients’ needs through continuing education and networking. We NAPO-NC members, promise to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and code of ethics for our clients.

NAPO provides professional opportunities, industry leadership, productive partnerships, and expert information and solutions to foster growth and fulfillment for all who work within the organizing and productivity industry or benefit from its services. –NAPO.net

A Supportive Environment
NAPO-NC members have many years of collective experience, and a variety of perspectives to share with new organizers. Through our many channels of communication – in person and online – we encourage all members to network on a personal level to gain insight from one another. We not only share resources with each other that help improve our businesses, but we also talk honestly as a group about challenges, ethics, methods, and innovations that help make us more successful as professional organizers.

Opportunities to Learn
We offer volunteer opportunities where organizers can work together and learn from each other. We also have guest speakers at each of our chapter meetings who bring new information to the table, helping us look at aspects of our field that we may not have even considered yet. There are online recordings from past talks given by world-class lecturers at the NAPO Conferences, that are made accessible to members. We also offer a library full of insightful, educational materials for members to check out as part of their personal enrichment.

We Believe

As an Association, We Believe
that the success of NAPO’s mission to be the leading source for Organizing and Productivity professionals relies on the collective efforts of our members of all races, religions, backgrounds, ages, abilities, beliefs, gender identities, and orientations. NAPO welcomes, supports and celebrates the diversity of people who are drawn to our profession and our Association.

As Professionals, We Believe
a diverse, equitable and inclusive professional organization drives innovation within our Association, builds successful businesses, and delivers cultural competency in our work with the communities we serve.

As Members, We Believe
our members should feel valued for their talents and experience, recognized for their contributions, and encouraged to bring their authentic selves to participate in NAPO and our industry.

As a Community, We Believe
that when people feel appreciated and included, they will be more creative, collaborative, innovative, and successful. We Believe that treating each other with respect and kindness in our words and actions builds community within our Association and enriches us all.
